Seoul Station is where most travelers begin or end a Korea trip — it’s the arrival point of the AREX airport train from Incheon, a KTX hub, and a major subway interchange. So it’s the perfect place for your first or last meal in Korea. Skip the generic station food court: within a short walk (mostly the quieter Seogye-dong side to the west) there’s excellent, honest, local food. Here are our reviewed picks, by what you’re in the mood for.
Best for Korean BBQ: Oso Galbi

A 3-minute walk behind the station in the old Seogye-dong galbi alley, Oso Galbi grills marbled hanu short rib over charcoal the old-school way — not touristy, great free banchan, honest prices. The move for a real Korean BBQ welcome or send-off.
Best Healthy Korean Meal: Ondang (House-Made Tofu)

Five minutes away, Ondang makes its own tofu every morning and serves a full, gentle Korean tofu course — jeon, hanwoo tteok-galbi, nutty biji stew, grilled fish. Bright, calm, and ideal if you want something healthy and refined.
Best Regional Korean: Ongsimi (Gangwon-do Food)

Right by the AREX exit, in a standalone hanok, Ongsimi serves Gangwon-do regional food — potato-dumpling soup, buckwheat noodles, that “Korean potato pizza” (gamjachae-jeon). The easiest way to eat a regional specialty the minute you get off the airport train.
Best Italian & Wine: Komvaak

Craving a break from Korean food? Komvaak does Italian brunch, steak and wine in a stylish room near the station — a relaxed Western option when you want it.
Best Quick Pizza Before Your Train: Dongnip Millbang

Literally inside the Seoul Station area, Dongnip Millbang fires wood-oven pizza and fresh pasta — the easy grab before you catch a KTX or head to the airport.

Tips for Eating Around Seoul Station
- Most of the good local food is on the west (Seogye-dong) side, a 3–7 min walk — not inside the station mall.
- Perfect first/last meal: drop bags at a Seoul Station-area hotel or locker, eat, then head out (or to the airport via AREX, ~43 min to Incheon).
- Cards accepted at all of these; most are foreigner-friendly.
- Mix it up: Korean BBQ or tofu for the full experience, Italian/pizza when you need a break.
